The stories were created by a group of European researchers coordinated by Professor
Traute Taeschner, tested by teachers during research projects with children, and rewritten
Based on their enjoyment.
The basic vocabulary of a language is 1,000 words; to achieve a
"C2" level in English, one must know 5,000.
